You won’t find Riverfront Tent Sites like these anywhere else!
NATURAL WOODED SITES!
These sites are spaced very far apart with heavy underbrush in between.
These are WALK IN SITES - you can not drive onto your site
CARRY IN and CARRY OUT! The walk ranges 25 to 400 yards. Trails are well marked with reflective arrows. Wheelbarrows are available for your gear.
TRAILS TO SECLUDED SITES are through the woods. These dirt trails are very natural with some roots and rocks. They twist and turn and go up and down some some embankments. Pack light, it's much easier......
NO Radios or Pets* Allowed!
Ipods without speakers are permitted.
Please be aware, loud voices and laughter carry on the river.
*The only site we may make an exception for a dog is P1. Your dog must be very well behaved, quiet and leashed at all times. If your dog can not follow these rules, it will have to leave.
NO Groups On Secluded Sites! We can't stress this enough.
MAXIMUM 4 ADULTS CAMPING TOGETHER: Total of 6 people including children. It doesn't matter if you take one or two sites, the maximum is 4 adults!
WHY? It's a simple fact, the more people, the more noise.
LIMITED PARKING
ONE VEHICLE per site

We have absolutely NO Extra Parking in the Pines Parking Area.
If you do bring an extra car, it will have to be parked elsewhere in the campground. $10 per night for 2nd vehicle.
TWO VEHICLES per site
May - October Weekdays: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
and May and June Weekends
(excluding Holiday Weekends)
We are not as crowded during the week and are more flexible with parking.

Walk In Sites....
The Pines Parking area has water spigot, dish washing sink and an outhouse. Showers and flush toilets are nearby.

Holiday Weekends all site are a 3 Night Minimum
No charge for children under 18, if camping with their parents

These Riverfront Sites are well spaced apart. While if your peer through the trees, you'll see other tents in the distance, you are still far apart! We designed these sites with privacy in mind. Very natural sites, right on the river. Well marked trails, very woodsy. Water spigot, dish washing sink and outhouse in parking area.
NICEST AND MOST SECLUDED RIVERFRONT SITES:
P6 (formally known as the Wilderness Retreat) - The MOST private site in the Pines!
250 yards from parking area. Heavily wooded, really far from your neighbors, last site on the river. The only folks you'll see is an occasional fisherman in the river.
P5 in the Pines! - Our LARGEST site!
200 yards from parking area. Lots of water noise, great stretch of the river! No problem with big tents.
Island 1* - most private site on the Island! (We re-numbered - this was Island 2 last year)
175 yards from parking area. Last site on the Island and most popular. Books up quickly!!!
Island 2*
100 yards from parking area. Easy walk and lots of water noise.
Island 3*
150 yards from parking. Nice stretch of the river.
*In case of extreme circumstances, such as the danger of flooding, you may be assigned a site in the Pines Retreat.

These sites are on a small stream, pretty and serene. They overlook the heavily wooded Island. Easy walk from your car and to the river.

You can park right next on your site, not as private as other Pines sites. Nice stretch of stream.
P2 in the Pines
About 30 yards from parking area. Smaller site, more private than P1, good for 1 medium/large or 2 smaller tents.

About 75 yards from parking area, easy walk to the river. Good for 2 large tents. Close to water spigot and a dish washing sink. This is nice, large very wooded site that offers privacy. No other tents sites near you.
