Sites are spaced very far apart with heavy underbrush in between. WALK IN SITES - you can not drive onto your site
The walk ranges 25 to 400 yards. Trails are well marked with reflectors. Wheelbarrows are available for your gear.
NO Radios or Pets* Allowed! Ipods without speakers are permitted. Please be aware, loud voices and laughter will carry on the river.
If you have a radio with external speakers you will be evicted without refund.
(Radios are permitted in our Covered Bridge section)
NO Groups On Secluded Sites!We can't stress this enough.
MAXIMUM 4 ADULTS CAMPING TOGETHER: Total of 6 people including children. It doesn't matter if you take one or two sites, the maximum is 4 adults!
WHY?It's a simple fact, the more people, the more noise.
LIMITED PARKING
Only ONE VEHICLE per site
July - October WEEKENDS and all Holiday Weekends We have absolutely NO Extra Parking in the Pines Parking Area. If you do bring an extra car, it will have to be parked elsewhere in the campground.
TWO VEHICLES per site are allowed Weekdays: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
and May and June Weekends (excluding Holiday Weekends) We are not as crowded during the week and are more flexible with parking.

If you peer through the trees, you might see other tents in the distance, but the sites are far apart!

P6 and P7- The most Private sites in the Pines! - firering, picnic table and couple plastic chairs P6 is about 300 yards from parking area. P7 is about 400 yards from the parking area.
Easy River Acess.
Heavily wooded, last two sites on the river. Maximum of 2 medium size tents.
The only folks you'll see is an occasional fisherman in the river.

Island 3*- firering, picnic table and couple plastic chairs 175 yards from parking area.

Lots of trees, but this site has lots of sunshine.
Nice stretch of river. Maximum of 2 large tents. Park your car in the Pines Parking area.
Island 14* - shortest walk, close to bathhouse -4 chairs, round plastic picnic table, small wooden table, firering - Maximum of 3 Adults, no children. -this is to keep the vegetation from being totally trampled.
-25 yard walk from your car- parking for 1 or 2 cars - Maximum of 2 small tents.
-Easy River Acess.
-Water spigot where you park. No wheelbarrow as site is very close to parking area.
-Lots of privacy by your firering which is right on the rivers edge.
-You can see a nearby camping trailer through the trees, but not to worry, you are well set apart from it.
Island 15* - very short walk and close to bathhouse - firering, picnic bench/table and couple plastic chairs 50 yard walk from your car, easy to get to.
This site has its own parking for 1 or 2 cars - smaller site, maximum of 1 two man tent.

This site has both sunshine and shade. Great stretch of river.
Island 16* - very short walk and close to bathhouse - firering, picnic table and couple plastic chairs 50 yard walk from your car, easy to get to.
This site has its own parking for 1 or 2 cars - Maximum of 2 tents.

This site has trees in the back, but by the river is lots of sunshine. Great stretch of river.
*In case of extreme circumstances, such as the danger of flooding, you may be assigned a site in the Pines Retreat.

You can park right next on your site, not as private as other Pines sites. Nice stretch of stream.
P2 in the Pines About 30 yards from parking area. Smaller site, more private than P1, good for 1 medium/large or 2 small tents.
OFF RIVER Tent Site P8: Includes Firering and Picnic Table
About 75 yards from parking area, easy walk to the river. Good for 2 large tents.
Close to water spigot and a dish washing sink. nice, large very wooded site with privacy.
No other sites near you.
